“The One Voice System”

We almost had it right. “Chest Voice”, “Middle Voice”, and “Head Voice” were not wrong, but they were not the end to the journey which singers have sought for centuries: Having the freedom of singing in a single connected voice.
There is no need to think about vocal range, or of trying to “shift gears” or “mix” anything. You don’t have a food processor or blender in your throat. Nothing is actually being “mixed”. It is a misnomer and is misleading. You are not a mixing board, like the one in a recording studio.
One voice is what we have, despite the older approaches to vocal pedagogy, which have failed far too many of us singers.
This will help vocal coaches to be more effective with results gained in a shorter time.
For the first time singers can become their own vocal coaches.
This book is 425 pages and is part of a system for studying the art and science of vocal coaching.
The vast knowledge of vocal coaching is on a par with that of being an architect.
The subject includes creativity and its relationship to instruction and to singing.
The book, One Voice System, is the culmination of 25 years of writing. It is based upon over 60 years of studying music and 55 years of writing music. Extensive private study and professional performance and vocal coaching have resulted in a perspective which blends musicianship and vocal technique.
